Funeral services for Edna Puckett, 80, of Princeton, were conducted on Saturday, May 5, 2007, at 1 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Puckett died on Thursday, May 3, 2007, at 4:40 a.m., at Caldwell County Hospital following a short illness.

Mrs. Puckett was born on March 22, 1927, in Caldwell County. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Oma Calvert Dunn.

Mrs. Puckett was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amon Dee Puckett; two brothers, Clifton Dunn and William Dunn; and two sisters, Mary Boaz and Margie Alexander.

Survivors include a step-daughter, Rosie Chronister of Princeton; a step-son, Jimmy Payne of Princeton; and two sisters, June Sumner of Cadiz and Ann Baldino of Phoenix, Ariz.
