Museum volunteer Toni Wolf said that only 10 children were allowed to register for each class and that they were filling up quickly. The first classes will begin on July 10. To register, call the museum at 522-9056.
Sig Skundberg will be teaching separate drawing and painting classes on July 10, 11, 18, 19, 24 and 25. Classes for first through fifth grade will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and children in sixth grade or older can attend from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on the same days.
Mitchell Bryant will be teaching a class on ceramic wind chimes and a class on basket weaving, both for kids sixth grade and older. The wind chime class will take place in two sessions and will be from 10 a.m. to noon on July 10 and 17. The weaving class is the only class that will cost more than $5 and will instead cost $10. It will be four sessions long and will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on July 17, 18, 19 and 20.
Penny Oakley will be teaching a class on friendship bracelets for grades three, four and five on July 11 from 10 a.m. to noon. She will also teach a class on beaded jewely for grades four and older, which will be from 10 a.m. to noon on July 26.
