Trigg County Judge/Executive Stan Humphries told the fiscal court that County Jailer Glenn Cunningham remained at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah recovering from spinal surgery.

Last Friday, Humphries said, “I saw Glenn on Wednesday and he is recovering from a procedure he underwent on June 15. They had to put a rod into his back and he is having a rough time recuperating. Right now, he is in a lot of pain, but is receiving pain management from his doctors.”

Humphries said that the jailer indicated that the procedure had been successful, but did not know when he would be able to resume his duties warding over county prisoners and transporting them to and from lodging in Christian County.
