According to a press release, this study is being led by EDAW, Inc., and international consulting firm with “considerable experience in regional planning and military base planning.” The study is designed with the intention to develop a plan that “avoids land use conflicts with Fort Campbell’s mission, balances military activities with the goals of local development and creates nighttime lighting standards compatible with Fort Campbell’s Night Vision Device (NVD) Training.”
