Children’s librarian Tammy Sholar said the program would only be for three weeks this year because of Independence Day being on a Wednesday. The program has started earlier than July most years.
The title of this year’s program is “Get a Clue at Your Library,” and will focus on a detective and mystery theme. Sessions will still take place in the mornings and afternoons, but there won’t be specific times designated by age, as has been the case in the past. Sholar said it was easier to plan it this way since parents tend to take all of their children to the same session anyway, regardless of their ages. Morning sessions will be from eleven o’clock to noon, and afternoon sessions will be from 1:30 to 2:30.
