The deadline for submissions is Aug. 31. A press release from the guild said that they are looking for artisans to “exhibit, sell and demonstrate their original, creative, hand-crafted items.” Booth spaces will be 12 feet by 12 feet in a grassy area with vendor parking behind each booth. No electricity will be available and each exhibitor must bring their own display, tent, table and chairs. Vendors will also be responsible for their own insurance, collecting and paying the Kentucky sales tax of six percent. The fee is $50 for both days and $40 for Saturday only. The event will be held between Holiday Inn Express and Cracker Barrel and behind Wendy’s and KFC.
Applications for booth can be picked up at the Janice Mason Art Museum, said guild member Curran Copeland. The applications include the address to which they should be mailed. When sending the check or Visa or Master Card information, artists should also provide a detailed description of their work and also three pictures of examples. If an artist is not chosen for inclusion, their fee will be returned promptly.
