“It’s getting scary is what it’s getting,” Rick said laughing.
Since an article about the event ran in the Sept. 12 edition of The Cadiz Record, Rick said he has been overwhelmed by the response. Although he thought most of the people he knew personally that he and Kathy raised alpacas, many of them apparently didn’t because he has been getting surprised comments every day since then. He said he’s heard comments from everyone he knows, including the veterinarian’s office. A family from Hopkinsville even stopped by recently when they weren’t expecting anyone. People have also been calling them constantly, he said.
“It’s been kind of hectic,” he said. “I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be really, really packed.”
