We’re here to watch our upcoming opponents play Union County and to see what they got. In front of us sits the coaching staff from Trigg County, along with their wives and kids (lots of kids!).
Our coaches are not only great teachers and coaches but good family men as well. I counted eight pacifiers, a platoon of toy soldiers and a G.I. Joe on medical leave (severe foot injury).
Football is a family affair for Coaches Lewis, Boehman and Burcham. I guess it has to be during football season. I’m glad we have well rounded guys like them coaching and guiding our kids through high school. I heard someone ask Coach Burcham how we’ll handle Caldwell and his reply was “we have Heath to deal with first”.
Good answer and a pretty good lead into my next subject. Heath.
They were 3-7 last year but have many starters returning including tailback Chad Wright. Wright was the 2nd leading rusher in Kentucky in 2006 with 2101 yards with 21 touchdowns. They also have some size on the line and were picked by some to be the 2nd seed in our district this year.
No easy one here folks; come out and support your team Friday night. The GridIron Club will be selling some great food in the parking lot before the game so make a night of it.
I want to take a minute and answer a few questions I’ve gotten regarding my camera gear. I use DSLRs. Short for Digital Single Reflex cameras. They look, act and feel like film cameras but have a sensor instead of film.
There is a vast array of interchangeable lenses and flash attachments for them depending on your style and subject. I would like to have them all.
