DUI/suspended license

Officer Jeff Ethridge arrested Melissa M. Ward, 34, of Delmont Church Road, Cadiz on October 28 for suspicion of DUI and driving with a license suspended due to a previous DUI conviction. Ethridge’s report alleges that he stopped Ward for a traffic violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, Ethridge claimed he smelled the odor of alcoholic beverages, and that Ward failed a field sobriety test. A Breathalyzer test recorded Ward’s blood alcohol content at .190, more than twice the legal limit of .08.
