Janice Mason Art Museum board member Paul Fourshee said he thought it would be a good chance for artists in the community or people interested in the arts to let the KAC what they like and what they would like to see. He said the meetings would be helpful because some areas of the state might have vastly different needs than other parts. He encouraged all members of the public, not just those involved with the museum, to attend.
“It’s important that they know there’s an arts presence here,” Fourshee said, adding that if many people show up, the KAC could “put a face to the name,” whether the name in question is JMAM or Trigg County as a whole.
According to the KAC’s Web site, artscouncil.ky.gov, the public is invited to arrive at 5 p.m. for “refreshments and lively arts entertainment.” The Cadiz entertainment will be Steve Rector.
