Funeral services for Cora Katherine Curlin Redd, 95, of Cadiz, were conducted on Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at 1 p.m., at the Second Baptist Church in Cadiz, with Gamble Funeral Home being in charge of all the arrangements.

Rev. C.L. Brown officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres in Trigg County.

Mrs. Redd died on Thursday, October 25, 2007, at 11:15 a.m., at the Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

Mrs. Redd was born on May 12, 1912, in Bumpus Mills, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mollie Civils Curlin.

Mrs. Redd was a retired school teacher; homemaker; and was a member of the Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Bumpus Mills.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie P. Redd.

Survivors include a Goddaughter, Carolyn Tyler Buckley of Ill.; and a sister, Marie Cunningham of Cadiz.
