Funeral services for Jane Tooley Washer, 77, of Cadiz, were conducted on Monday, November 5, 2007, at 11 a.m., at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Cadiz, with Goodwin Funeral Home being in charge of all the arrangements.

Father Babu Joseph officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz.

Mrs. Washer died on Friday, November 2, 2007, at 9:10 p.m., at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.

Mrs. Washer was born on June 12, 1930, in Russellville. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Malinda Warren Tooley.

Mrs. Washer was a homemaker; a member of the Trigg County Band Parents; and a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Washer; daughter, Cindy Washer; brother, David Tooley; and two sisters, Mary Tyree and Frances Roberts.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Malinda and Jerry Powell of Hopkinsville; six sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Nancy Washer, Daniel and April Washer, Keith and Theresa Washer, and Stephen Washer, all of Cadiz, Kevin and Debbie Washer of Carrollton, Texas, and Shawn and Lonna Washer of Paducah; a brother, William Tooley of Louisville; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

St. Stephen Catholic Church Choir, Angie Thome, organist, Cantor Lacey Riddle, vocalist, provided the music.

Serving as pallbearers were Chris Washer, Kevin Washer, Daniel Washer, Keith Washer, Shawn Washer and Stephen Washer.
