Miss Burford is the granddaughter of J.D. and Carolyn Howell of Cadiz and Mr. and Mrs. Alwin Burford of Bowling Green.
Mr. Baker is the grandson of Howard and Gracie Baker of Cadiz, and the late Thomas and Blanche Carney and Mary Nell Baker.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Murray State University and is employed by the Christian County School System as a Speech Therapist.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Murray State University, where he was a member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, and is employed by Finley Builders.
The wedding is scheduled for Saturday, December 8, 2007, at 5 p.m., at the Cadiz Baptist Church, with a reception following at the Lake Barkley State Resort Park Convention Center.
All friends and relatives are invited. Invitations will be sent to out-of-town guest only.
