Lake Barkley State Resort Park is asking that people keep their eyes out for Christmas decorations that were stolen from the park last week.

Park Ranger Rebecca Bleidt said that an eight-foot lighted snowman, a reindeer family and three handmade, wooden nutcracker soldiers turned up missing before Saturday morning. She said Saturday was the first day anyone noticed the decorations were missing. After speaking with The Cadiz Record Monday morning, Bleidt called and said that the reindeer family, consisting of a buck, doe and baby, had found in another park of the park. This still leaves four figures missing. The nutcrackers and reindeer were taken from the entrance to the lodge, right next to the bridge. Bleidt said that the snowman was originally at the sign pointing toward the lodge and the beach.
