Meredith and Hargrove exchange wedding vows

The Blue Spring Missionary Baptist Church in Caldwell County was the setting for the exchanging of wedding vows of Ashley Lauren Meredith and Marty Lynn Hargrove at 2 p.m., on Saturday, September 15, 2007.

Rev. John M. Ahart officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Eddie and Betsy Meredith of Caldwell County. She is the granddaughter of Georgia Meredith of Cadiz, and the late Willie Meredith, Aline Wood of Trigg County, and the late Clint Mitchell.

The groom is the son of Jerry Hargrove of Cadiz and Leisa Hargrove of Hopkinsville. He is the grandson of Nora Aldridge of Trigg County, and the late Daniel Finley, and the late Loyd and Anna Mae Hargrove.

Cousin of the bride, Scott Mitchell of Princeton, pianist, and Karen Gentry of Hopkinsville, soloist, friend of the groom, presented a program of nuptial music.

The bride chose Britney Bolton of Orange County, Calif., to serve as her Maid of Honor. Serving as Bridesmaids were Jennifer Boone and Tori King, both of Cadiz, and Vicky Johnson of Roseville, Calif.

Serving as Flower Girls were Bailey Boone, daughter of John and Jennifer Boone, and Jacie Mae Short, daughter of Angie Hargrove.

The groom chose his nephew, C. Tyler Proffitt, to serve as his Best Man and Ringbearer. Serving as groomsmen were Cole Bybee, Jeremy Cortner, Will Ezell, and Justin Hite, all of Cadiz.

Ushers were Dustin Finley, Terry Harper, and Adam Meredith.

Guest Register Attendant was Angie Hargrove, sister of the groom.

Jill Hart and Lanita Mitchell, cousins of the bride, served as Program Attendants and Wedding Coordinators.

Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church Fellowship Hall with Sara Chewning, Kelly Marlowe, Billie Dawn Moss, and Tiffany Turner, all friends of the bride of Cadiz, serving.

Ashley is a 2002 graduate of Trigg County High School.

Marty attended Trigg County High School and is employed with H & H Construction.

Following a honeymoon at Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is making their home at 2064 Will Jackson Road, Cadiz.
