Graveside services for Mary Leona Ice, 86, of Cadiz, were conducted on Friday, January 4, 2008, at 2 p.m., at Dale Cemetery in Dale, Ind. Visitation was held at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz on Thursday, January 3, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rev. David Blystone officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Dale Cemetery.

Mrs. Ice died on Tuesday, January 1, 2008, at 5:20 a.m., at her residence of Lymphoma.

Mrs. Ice was born on October 26, 1921, in Wayne City, Ill. She was the daughter of the late Jeff and Gladys Taylor Henson.

Mrs. Ice was a homemaker; a member of the Methodist Faith; and was a former employee of Credit Union.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Turner and Linda Jean Henson.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Delmar Ice of Cadiz; daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Stan White of Cadiz; two brothers, Bill Henson of Union, Mo., and John Henson of Manchester, Mo.; three sisters, Joan Richardson of Nashville, Tenn., Maxine Gumbel of Vandalia, Ill., and Selma Lawson of Fairfield, Ill.; grandchildren, Cindy Stroud and Kristen Prouse; step grandchildren, Christy White, Bill White, Steve White, Holly McLenan, and John White; and several great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were John White, Brandon Stroud, Jerry Stroud, Kevin Stroud, Stan White, and Richard Kissel.
