Michelle Strickland, one of the event’s organizers, said that a theme is picked for the event every year and that this year’s theme is travel.
“The kids will see that it’s as easy to get somewhere through imagination as it is with a car,” she said.
The event is planned to coincide with the school’s reading and math night. That day, people will be walking around as characters from beloved books. Strickland said that the popular talking mouse Geronimo Stilton would be seeing walking down the halls that day to entice the kids to bring their families that night.
