Disorderly Conduct

Cadiz Police Officer Mathew Dolezal arrested 34-year-old Gene W. Perry of Otis Circle Hopkinsville on February 5. Perry was charged with Alcohol Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct after the officer received a complaint from an Eastgate Apartments resident. The complaint alleges that Perry hung from a tree and yelled profanity.

Upon arriving at the scene, Dolezal claimed that Perry continued to yell and threw a beer can to the ground. The investigating officer alleged that Perry appeared “very intoxicated” and carried a strong odor of alcoholic beverages.

Warrant served

Trigg County Deputy Sheriff Jimmy Godair executed a bench warrant against Corey Alexander, 31, of 126 Anna Street, Cadiz on February 7. Godair executed the warrant signed by District Judge Jamus Redd III based on charges of Third Degree Terroristic Threatening from a January 8 incident.

Redd ordered that the defendant be held without bail.

Warrant served

Deputy Godair served an arrest warrant to Brandy L. Turner, 26, of 84 Iron Street based on charges of Contempt of Court. The warrant, signed by District Judge Jill Clark on October 22, 2007 alleges that Turner failed to provide proof of enrollment in domestic violence counseling.

Turner was lodged in lieu of a $500 cash bond.
