Rev. Don Moore officiated at the services. Burial followed in East End Cemetery in Cadiz.
Mrs. Joiner died on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at 12:35 a.m., at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah of natural causes.
Mrs. Joiner was born on May 5, 1934, in Cadiz. She was the daughter of the late Oscar Boyd and Ora Mae Moore Taylor.
Mrs. Joiner was retired from Clement Pharmacy with 20 years of service; was a member of the Primitive Baptist; and was a member of Woodmen of the World.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Joiner; and three brothers, Billy Joe Taylor, Guy Dell Taylor, and Wendell Bruce Taylor.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Joiner of Cadiz; a brother, James “Sonny” Taylor; and two sisters, Bertha “Wink” Sumner and Joyce “Sissy” Estes, both of Cadiz.
Suellen Hendricks, pianist, provided the music.
Serving as pallbearers were Bobby Clement, Johnny Meadows, Chester Bridges, Stephen Dale Audas, Jim Taylor, and Mike Merrick.
