Memorial services for Dorothy Nell Fennell Bland, 66, of Glendale, Ariz., formerly of Golden Pond, Ky., were conducted on Monday, February 25, 2008, at Heritage Funeral Chapel in Peoria, Ariz.

Mrs. Bland died on Wednesday, February 20, 2008. She was the daughter of Carl and Juanita Smith Fennel.

Mrs. Bland was born on December 28, 1941, in Cadiz. During her lifetime, she has resided in Cadiz and Golden Pond, Central Illinois, and Arizona.

Mrs. Bland was a dedicated nurse for the past 40 years, and has been a nurse at Coronado Care Home for the past 12 years.

Those preceding her in death include her husband, Dorrell E. Bland; and her son, Michael Bland, Sr.

Survivors include three sons, Brian Bland, Jeffrey Bland, and Patrick Bland; brother George Fennell; sister Betty Allen; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
