With the calendar saying April and temperatures like late November, the Trigg County Wildcats continued to march onward with a district game against Crittenden County. Don Bush took the hill for the Wildcats tossing a complete game shut-out of the visiting Rockets. This would be the first game of district play for both teams.

Bush opened the first inning with strikeouts to J.D. Gray and Jacob McMiccan of Crittenden and getting Cody McDonald to ground out to first to end the top of the first inning.

The first inning for the Wildcats seemed like deja vu from Saturday as the Wildcats send nine hitters to the plate scoring four runs on 2 hits. Donald Bush helped his own cause with a double to put Tyler Greenman and him in position to score that inning. Josh Green, Shane Banks and Mitch Rogers all reached base in the first inning.
