Revs. Billy Barnes and Irvin Darnall officiated at the services. Burial followed in Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West in Hopkinsville on Monday, April 28, at 10 a.m., with Military Honors.
Mr. Cross died on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at 11:35 a.m., at Alive Hospice in Madison, Tenn., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on April 16, in Trigg County.
Mr. Cross was born on November 26, 1956, at Ft. Campbell, Ky. He was the son of Frank B. Sr. and Mary E. Noel Cross of Cadiz.
Mr. Cross was a carpenter and a member of Trigg County Baptist Church.
Grandparents, Hazel E. and Susie G. Noel and Benton F. and Hazel G. Cross, preceded him in death.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include three sons, John Michael Cross of Julien, and Brant Lee Shea Cross and David Austin Benton Cross, both of Cadiz; three brothers, Donnie Cross and Ronnie Cross, both of Cadiz, and Frank Cross, Jr., of Trenton; and a special friend, Susan Alexander of Canton.
Sheila Alder, Vocalist, Wayne Walker, vocalist, and Kristee Smith, pianist provided the music.
Serving as pallbearers were Mike Williams, John Allen, Greg Brooks, Jimmy Brooks, Phillip Noel, and Ben Cross.
Honorary pallbearers were Dale Groves, Donald Dawson, Phillip Sadler, Mike Sadler, and David Sadler.
