Father Babu Joseph officiated at the services. Burial followed in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville.
Mrs. Leveen died on Friday, May 23, 2008, at 5:20 a.m., at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
Mrs. Leveen was born on November 20, 1920, in Douglas, Ariz. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Cruzita Tessman.
Mrs. Leveen was a homemaker; a former writer for the Portland newspaper in Portland, Texas; and was a member of the Our Lady of the Sea Catholic Church in Portland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul David Leveen in September 1999; a daughter, Cynthia Lagenour; a son, Paul Douglas Leveen; and a brother, Manuel Tessman.
Survivors include two daughters, Frankie Lynn Oldham of Cadiz, and Sherie Clemons, Bedford, Va.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Gwindal Martin, Dylan Oldham, George Oldham, Todd King, Eldon Hise, and Richard Hoal.
Clarissa King, pianist, provided the music.
