Rev. Alfred Fields officiated at the services. Burial followed in Powell Valley Cemetery in Powell Valley, Va.
Mrs. Pass died on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at 3:45 p.m., at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, of natural causes.
Mrs. Pass was born on December 21, 1919, in Millstone, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Otho and Nancy Hall Bentley.
Mrs. Pass was a retired nurse; was a homemaker; and was a member of the Church of Christ in LaFallotte, Tenn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.B. Pass; a son, James Pass; three brothers, Willie Bentley, Otho Bentley, and Can Bentley; nine sisters, Stella Salyers, Mary Bentley, Nattie Taylor, Laura Stallard, Atha Caudill, Wilma Benge, Cora Mullins, Opal Bentley, and Sabrina Blair.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Madonna Pass of Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Julia and Jim Robinson of Jacksboro, Tenn., and Rebecca and Joel Hughes of Cadiz; two sisters, Lettie Totten of Freeburn, Ky., and Anna Sue Bentley of Millstone, Ky.; six brothers, D.V. Bentley, Joe Bentley, and Jerry Bentley, all of Millstone, John Vent Bentley and Jimmy Bentley, both of Cleveland, Ohio, and Freddie Bentley of Dayton, Ohio; nine grandchildren, James Pass, Jr., Carl Pass, Ruth Walton, James Theo Robinson, Jeff Pass, Missy McCord, Shane Slone, Brandon Slone, and Julie Lukon; 11 great-grandchildren, Carl Pass, Rueben Walton, Reece Walton, Jeff Pass, Josh McCord, Lindsey McCord, Lakyn Slone, Katelyn Slone, Keegan Slone, Cole Slone, and Kiley Slone.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
