Due to a small number of responses, The Cadiz Record announced this week the postponement of a planned Pictorial History of The Lakes Area. The book was to be printed this fall in ample time for Christmas delivery and would have contained a large volume of photographs of the history of Land Between the Rivers and Land Between the Lakes.

The pictorial history would have included photographs from not only Trigg County, but Lyon and Marshall County as well.

Those persons who have already ordered the book and made payment will all be reimbursed.

“The decision to postpone the printing was made as the deadline for scheduling a fall publication date neared,” announced general manager Vyron Mitchell. “I think it would be a great way to view the history of the lake’s region, but we have missed the window for having the book published for this year.”

Mitchell explained that the lack of sales was the biggest factor in his decision.
