Rev. Paxton Redd officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Wall Cemetery in Wallonia.
Mr. Joiner died on Sunday, July 6, 2008, at 9:55 a.m., at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., of natural causes.
Mr. Joiner was born on January 6, 1961, in Trigg County. He was the son of Edward Wayne and Eva Dell Sanders Joiner of Cadiz.
Mr. Joiner was employed at Lake Barkley State Resort Park, and was a member of Wallonia Christian Church.
A brother, Dickie Dean Joiner; a twin sister, Serilda Jayne Joiner; and grandparents, Clarence and Pauline Sanders and James Claude and Lila Lee Joiner preceded him in death.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a son, Jared Wayne Joiner of Cadiz; step daughter, Misty Hardin of Cadiz; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey Scott and Pamela Joiner of Dover, Tenn.; sister, Brenda Lee Joiner of Cadiz; grandchild, Aydan Lee Joiner of Cadiz; three nephews, Cambrane Scott Joiner, Kandice Blair Joiner, and Kayla DeShea Joiner; step niece, Shelby Suiter; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers were Corey Greenman, Randy Wallace, Ricky Turner, Bruce P’Pool, Todd King, Thomas Brime, David Eubanks, Shannon Knight, Stacy Woods, Kenny Bridges, Rodney Wynn and Justin Cain.
Honorary pallbearers were Employees of Lake Barkley State Resort Park.
