Born January 22, 1926 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Lillian (Bonta) Mitchell. She was a homemaker and partner in the Rue Insurance Agency and a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church.
Survivors include: her husband: Leslie Rue, two daughters: Tish (Bruce) Rudd of Cadiz, KY, Jane (Andy) Rice of Danville, KY; three Grandsons, Bruce Rudd Jr., Billy Hargis Jr. and Todd Hargis; three Great Grandchildren, Jacob Rudd, Jackson Hargis and Ella Rue Hargis. She was predeceased by a brother: Kenneth Mitchell.
Funeral services will be conducted 11AM, Saturday, July 26 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Tish Rudd. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Bruce Rudd Jr., Billy Hargis Jr., Todd Hargis, Charles Lewis, Ronnie Miller and Art Baker,
Visitation will be Friday, July 25 from 5-7 PM and Saturday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
