The Trigg County High School Football Team started their season Friday night August 15 with a Scrimmage game against Marshall County. “This game, after watching the film will help us determine what we need to work on,” Coach Burcham said.

Both teams had ten possessions per round and three rounds of this type of play to see what their offense and defense could accomplish with out a kick-off or return. The first possession Trigg County started at Marshall Counties ten and looked a bit shaky, though soon picked up the pace. The second time they were given the ball on offense Trigg County’s QB completed a pass for a fifty-five yard gain and accumulated eighty yards on ten plays. On the final offensive stance Trigg County scored a touchdown on a sixty five-yard pass play.
