Funeral services for Bernadine “Boots” McGraw Tabor, 89, of Cadiz, were conducted on Saturday, August 23, 2008, at 2 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Steve Spitzer officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Kentucky portion of Land Between The Lakes.

Mrs. Tabor died on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at 8:25 a.m., at Shady Lawn Nursing Center of natural causes.

Mrs. Tabor was born on December 25, 1918, in Kirkwood, Ill. She was the daughter of the late James McGraw and Billie Lou Knight Decker.

Mrs. Tabor was a retired Manager of the Assisted Living Apartments in Peoria, Ill.; was a member of the Trigg County Hospital Auxiliary; and a member of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Tabor; son-in-law, Billy Clyde Jones; and brother, Jimmy McGraw.

Survivors include a daughter, Claudia Tabor Jones of Cadiz; grandchildren, Michael R. Jones, Jeffrey C. Jones, Douglas A. and Norma Jones; and great-grandchildren, Jordan Jones and Joelle Jones.

Claudia Jones, vocalist, provided the music.

Serving as pallbearers were Michael R. Jones, Jeffrey C. Jones, Douglas A. Jones, Bob Smith, and Joe Knight.
