Only one goal separates the Trigg County High School boys’ soccer team from being undefeated. Trigg County, under the guidance of head coach Josh Nichols, owns a 3-1 record through its first four matches. The Wildcats have turned out some dominating performances en route to the 3-1 record. Trigg County has outscored four opponents a combined 15-2.

Caldwell County has dealt the Wildcats their only loss to date, edging Trigg County 1-0. Trigg County has posted wins over Fort Campbell (4-1), Dawson Springs (7-0) and Lyon County (4-0). Trigg County’s most impressive performance to date this season came in a 7-0 triumph over Dawson Springs.

The Trigg County boys’ soccer team was back in action Tuesday (sept. 2) at home versus longtime rival Hopkinsville. The Trigg County-Hopkinsville contest ended too late to make this edition.

Trigg County is gearing up to play in the Laker Invitational at Calloway County. A schedule of upcoming TCHS boys’ soccer matches follows.
