In the girls’ race, Trigg County turned in a perffect score. Lynease Byers won the race in a time of 25:50. Alex Olin finished second in a time of 26:42. DiAsia Acree was third, ending the meet in 29:14. Macey King (30:48) and Monica Jones (30:49) finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
The Trigg County girls’ cross country team turned in a very impressive performance.
Trigg County defeated Hopkinsville in the boys’ race.
For the Trigg County boys, Romaine Cunningham won in a time of 21:29. Jay Jolly was second in 21:31. Depaul Hendrix finished fifth for Trigg County in 25:50. Brien Dossett was seventh in 25:55 for the Wildcats. Jayven Jones was eighth for Trigg County, finishing the race in 27:14.
