Funeral services for Pamela Jean White Wimpye, 52, of Hopkinsville, were conducted on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at 1 p.m., at Virginia Street Baptist Church in Hopkinsville. Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville was in charge of all the arrangements.

Rev. Shalmon Radford officiated at the services. Burial followed in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Christian County.

Mrs. Wimpye died on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at 1:45 p.m., at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

Mrs. Wimpye was born on September 29, 1956, in Elizabethtown, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Eugene and Loretta Anderson White.

Mrs. Wimpye had been employed by Flynn Warehouse for six years and was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church in Cerulean.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony H. Wimpye of Hopkinsville; a son, Antonio White of Hopkinsville; a daughter, La Tosha White of Hopkinsville; two brothers, Shannon White of Hopkinsville and Denny Lewis of St. Louis, Mo.; five sisters, Marcia Jordan of Cerulean, Valerie Cavanaugh of Cadiz, Shawn Bridges of Salisburg, NC, Stephanie Smith of Canton, Ohio, and Charlene White of Hopkinsville; and three grandchildren.
