Mr. Stacy died on Saturday, October 25, 2008, at 7:40 p.m., at his home of natural causes.
Mr. Stacy was born on September 26, 1929, in Perry County, Ky. He was the son of the late Riley, Sr., and Nannie Messer Stacy.
Mr. Stacy was a retired Civil Service Electrical Engineer from Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio; was a Kentucky Colonel; a veteran of the U.S. Air Force; and was of the Methodist Faith..
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Bingham Stacy of Cadiz; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Chris Stacy of Dayton, Ohio and Jeff and Kathy Stacy of Hillsboro, Ohio; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jodi and Michael Ream of Lebanon, Ohio and Joni and David Ormsbee of Cedarville, Ohio; a stepson, Jeff Clark of Clearwater, Fla.; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Donald Schoonbeck of St. Petersburg, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Amanda Stacy, Bradley Stacy, Sarah Ream, Joshua Ream, Samuel Ream, Anna Ream, Daniel Ormsbee, and Benjamin Ormsbee; and two step grandchildren, Rockie Kabotsky and Tracey Campbell.
Glenn Murch, instrumentalist, Joni and David Ormsbee, vocalists, and Dr. Ron Collins, vocalist, provided the music.
