Mrs. Hanke was born on December 28, 1918, in Chicago, Ill. She was the daughter of the late William R. and Pearl Harding Lesemann.
Mrs. Hanke was a retired legal Secretary; a member of the Widowed Persons Group; and a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Borchert Hanke; a son, Warren R. Hanke; and a brother, William Lesemann.
Survivors include a son, Brian Hanke of St. Charles, Mo.; and a daughter, Joan Hanke-Woods of Chicago, Ill.
