The Trigg County’s boys’ elementary school team finished 13th out of 43 teams. Ethan Dossett led Trigg County with an 11th-place finish. Dossett finished in a time of 11:23 over the 1.8-mile course.
Also in competition on the boys’ side for Trigg County were Debo Mayes (48, 12:01), Regean Hyde (96, 12:39), Justin Rivas (163, 13:22), David Morgan (186, 13:31), J.B. Hendricks (202, 13:37) and Tyler Estes (211, 13:37).
In the elementary school race for Trigg County, Kelsey Desrochers was 152nd in a time of 14:31. Stephanie Thomas concluded the course 246th in a time of 15:35.
The Trigg County Middle School boys’ squad finished 36th. Romaine Cunningham led the Trigg County Middle School squad, finishing 13th in a time of 14:22. Garrett Brown (220, 16:48), Brien Dossett (266, 17:30), Jayven Jones (327, 19:07) and Corbin Estes (331, 19:10) were other Trigg County Middle boys in competition.
Alex Olin paced the Lady MidCats with a time of 18:21 – good enough for 172nd overall. Monica Jones was 177th in 20:58.
In the high school division, Lynease Byers paced the Lady Wildcats with a 12th-place finish. Byers finished in a time of 20:52, running well over the 3.1-mile course. Rachel Cronin finished 209th in 29:44.
Jay Jolly finished 159th in a time of 19:37 for the Trigg County High boys’ cross country team. Jakelzy Martin (264, 21:14), Matt Savage (324, 22:42) and Raymond Cronin (372, 25:43) also raced for the Trigg County High boys’ cross country program.
The high school portion of the meet was not a state championship event.
