In the eighth grade game, Trigg County defeated Livingston 42-39 in a back-and-forth matchup. Khadijah Grubbs led the Midcats with a game-high 32 points in the victory over the Livingston eighth grade unit.
Trigg Boys sweep Crittenden: The Trigg County Middle School seventh and eighth grade boys’ basketball teams swept Crittenden County squads Tuesday, Nov. 25.
In the seventh grade game, Keshawn Davis dumped in 12 points to lead Trigg County to an impressive 36-13 win over Crittenden County. Trigg County jumped out in front and never looked back in the seventh grade boys’ basketball matchup. The Trigg County eighth grade team also rolled, defeating Crittenden County 66-32 in an effort that more than doubled up the opposing team. Deonquez Nance paced the Trigg County eighth grade team with 16 points.
