Revs. Phil Schneider and Timothy Keller officiated at the services. Burial followed at Valhalla Memorial Park.
Mr. Wynn died on Friday, November 28, 2008, at 9:35 a.m., at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Wynn was born on May 7, 1931, in Cadiz. He was the son of the late Louie and Grace Timmons Wynn.
Mr. Wynn was retired from Laclede Steel Company after 31 years, having served with the eight-inch mill and was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Bethalto.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Frances Ivester Wynn; two daughters, Debbie Dwiggins of Fosterburg and Vickie Berghoff of Statesboro, Ga.; four grandchildren, Joni and husband Matt Aycock, and Matt Berghoff, all of Statesboro, and Emily Dwiggins and Allyson Dwiggins of Fosterburg; two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jesse Aycock of Statesboro, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Doug Garner, Viola Schwartz and Shirley and Wallace Litchfield, all of Cadiz; a brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Betty Wynn of Alton; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Assembly of God Building Fund.
