Rev. Jerry Bacon officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Trigg County.
Mr. Blane died on Sunday, November 23, 2008, at 11:40 a.m., at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Mr. Blane was born on June 26, 1953, in Christian County. He was the son of the late Howell and Ophelia Gee Blane.
Mr. Blane was a roofer for Chilton Roofing Company and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Cadiz.
Survivors include a brother, O.G. Blane of Cadiz; and four sisters, Mae Alice Lindsay, Loretta J. Blane, Clara Belle Blane, and Darlene Crenshaw, all of Cadiz.
