Revs. Patrick Yates, and David Sprinkle officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Caldwell Blue Springs Cemetery, Princeton, KY.
Mrs. Tyler died on Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at 6 a.m. at her residence of natural causes.
Mrs. Tyler was born on July 24, 1944, in Hopkins, Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Gordon Lewis and Margaret Elizabeth Ladd Adams.
Mrs. Tyler was a tobacco farmer, seamstress, and had been employed by the Princeton Health Care Manor.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Paul Ed Tyler, and one sister, Ernestine Adams.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jimmy Tyler, Cadiz, two sons and daughters in laws, James Howard “Snub” Tyler, Jr. and Jodie, Dawson Springs, Steve and Cathy Tyler, Cadiz, three daughters and son in laws, Ruby Holloway, Cadiz, Sally and Randy Rambo, Dawson Springs, Linda and Will Russell, Cadiz, six brothers, Jr. Adams, Arnold Lewis Adams, Cletus Adams, David Lee Adams, Phillip Wayne Adams, Roger Dale Adams, all of Dawson Springs, seven sisters, Mary Francis Messamore, Christine Hale, Elizabeth Sue Hartwig, Ruth Ann Farris, and Edna Mae Adams, all of Dawson Springs, Betty June Lowe, of Texas, and Lucy Jane Rains, of Cadiz, fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Will Russell, Randy Rambo, Eddie Skinner, Scotty Hightower, David Hargrove, Jesse Hargrove, Matt Russell, Scott Rambo, Tony Adams and Paul Holloway.
