I was unable to attend the games, due to a family emergency, but I was informed that our young men did very well and played extremely hard. I was especially impressed to hear that our boys were some of the most mannerly players at the tournament. As a matter of fact, I was told that one lady said that our Jermya Love was one of the most respectful young men that she has seen in a long time. Now 'that' is a perfect example of showing maturity and a testament to good parental guidance.
I would personally like to thank our principal, Mr. Mangels, for everything he has done to help make this event possible for our boys. I would also like to thank our athletic director Rodney Davis for helping to organize this event and to step in to my shoes and coach our young men as I took care of my family. Lastly I would like to thank all the parents, players, faculty and staff for helping to make this a season that I will never forget. Thank you all and congratulations to our Midcats for a wonderful basketball season! GO MIDCATS!!!
