Funeral services for Patricia Louise Heflin, 64, of Hopkinsville, KY were conducted on Friday, March 13, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Ms. Heflin died on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at 4:22 a.m. at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Ms. Heflin was born November 14, 1944, in Cadiz. She was the daughter of the late Sammie Lee and Mary Francis Vaughn Cunningham.

Ms. Heflin was a homemaker and a member of the Cadiz Pentecostal Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Gertie Lee McCough.

Survivors include her son, Michael D. Heflin, of Hopkinsville, three daughters, Regina Burkhead Cunningham, Brenda Hanson, and Teresa Lynn Heflin, all of Hopkinsville, two brothers, Morris Cunningham, of Greenville, Douglas Cunningham, of Cadiz, three sisters, Lily and Janie Parker, both of Cadiz, and Doris Kay Birdsong, of Princeton, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
