Rev. Dr. Tom Martin will officiate at the service. Burial will follow Thursday, March 19, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the Cherry Grove Cemetery, Clare, Michigan.
Mr. Finlayson died on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at 10:20 p.m. at his residence of natural causes.
Mr. Finlayson was born on November 5, 1924, in Chicago, IL. He was the son of the late John Lovell and Harriett Hodges Finlayson.
Mr. Finlayson was retired from Walter Thompson Advertising Co., in Dearborn MI and a retired real estate broker. He was of the Methodist Faith. He was very active in the Republican Party and was a member of the garden club, a US Army Veteran serving in WWII.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Hodges Finlayson and James Finlayson.
Survivors include three nephews, John Gary Finlayson, Howell, MI, Craig Finlayson, Pomona, CA, and Brian Finlayson, Howell, MI and his closest and dearest friends Danny and Toleda Kitchens, Cadiz.
Clarissa King, pianist provided the music.
