Nancy Hollis, 53, was traveling westbound on the interstate when she swerved to avoid a tractor trailer that was headed in the same direction, and her Honda Accord left the right shoulder and ran up the embankment, going for about 50 yards before finally stopping, said Snyder, who added that she was wearing a seat belt.
Hollis was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville for possible injuries, Snyder, who was assisted by the Oak Grove Police Department and the Oak Grove Emergency Medical Service, wrote.
