Richard Janasik, 52, of Cadiz, was driving in his pickup truck south on Blue Spring Road when he dropped off of the shoulder of the roadway at about 2:47 p.m., at which point he overcorrected, causing his truck to cross paths with a pickup truck driven by Charles H. Yokley, 22, of Franklin, Ky., resulting in a head-on collision, Paull’s report stated.
Janasik, Yokley, and his passenger, Charles R. Yokley, 51, also of Franklin, Ky., were injured and taken to Trigg County Hospital, and while the Yokleys were released, Janasik remained, and was cited for driving under the influence second offense with aggravated circumstances, Paull wrote.
All three were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Department and Trigg County Fire and Rescue assisted Paull at the scene.
