The American Lung Association has the perfect remedy for golfers feeling the pinch of a tight economy. it’s the 2009 Kentucky Golf Tour Book (Lung Book) which offers reduced rates at over 400 golf courses, practice ranges and indoor facilities. There are 181 courses in Kentucky alone, plus additional courses in Indiana, Tennessee and several other states. All proceeds benefit the fight against lung disease.

Listed in the package are courses in and around Trigg County, including Lake Barkley State Resort Park and Arrowhead Golf Club in Cadiz.

The 2009 American Cancer Society “Green Cards” are available for discounted golf at almost 20 courses in western Kentucky. Cards are $20 each.
