Paving work on Trigg roads this week

Rogers Group, a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to start asphalt paving on a number of highways in the Cerulean area of Trigg County on Wednesday, April 29.

Asphalt paving will begin on KY 124/Main Street from mile point 9.226 at KY 126 to mile point 9.713 at KY 126; KY 624/Cerulean-Hopkinsville Road from mile point 0.0 at KY 124 to mile point 2.995 the Trigg-Christian County Line; and KY 126/Robinson Avenue from mile point 2.231 at KY 124 to mile point 5.257 at the Trigg-Caldwell County Line.

Asphalt paving will also begin on KY 272/Cadiz-Caledonia Road from mile point 6.556 at Sinking Fork Road to mile point 10.234 at KY 1585; and KY 778/Siloam Road from mile point 0.373 Wood Avenue to mile point 1.580 Gentry Gray Road.

Rogers Group is the prime contractor on this $732,737 highway improvement project. The project covers a total of 11.353 miles. This paving work has an estimated completion date of May 15th, weather permitting.

Motorists can expect to encounter lane restrictions and paving crews on these listed highways whenever weather allows until the paving is complete. ?Motorist should be alert for equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel on the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
