The Loan Fund was established by the Last Will and Testament of Hollis Litchfield to provide financial assistance to needy and deserving students to attend university or trade schools. Applicants must meet the following general requirements:
– Attendance at a college, university, vocational, technical, or trade school;
– Minimum 2.0 GPA and student in good standing;
–Actual need for financial assistance;
– Personal interview with Litchfield Memorial Student Loan Fund, Inc. Board of Directors;
– Resident of Trigg County.
Submission deadline is May 15.
The loans are interest-free until two years after graduation and then must be repaid on a monthly installment basis over a three year period.
