An evidence suppression hearing in the case of Roaring Springs triple-murder suspect Kevin Dunlap that was scheduled for Friday, May 15, has been rescheduled for Friday, May 22, at 9 a.m., Trigg County Commonwealth’s Attorney G.L. Ovey said last Thursday.

Ovey said the hearing was moved to this week because of a sche-duling conflict; one of the witnesses for the Commonwealth wasn’t able to appear in court last Friday.

The hearing, and the case in general, will still be held at the Livingston County Justice Center in Smithland. A change of venue was sought in late May because of all of the pre-trial publicity, Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Carrie Ovey-Wiggins said earlier.

The Friday hearing date had been set after Dunlap’s attorney requested during an April hearing that evidence tapes be excluded because some parts were inaudible.
