Cadiz-Trigg County Tourism was represented during last week’s recognition of National Tourism Week. Nancy Shelton from the Christian County Welcome Center on I-24 at the Kentucky border invited Bill Stevens, executive director of Cadiz-Trigg County Tourism, to spend the day at the center to provide information to travelers stopping in.

“It is always interesting to spend the day at the States busiest Welcome Center” Stevens said. “I get to talk to so many people about what’s just down the road and so many people are surprised of all we have in Trigg County.” “Travelers are quick to tell you where they are from and why they are on the road-it opens up a great opportunity to plant the seed of visiting with us in Cadiz.”
