Memorial services for Robert Woods, 57, of 795 Woods Road in Cadiz, were held on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz at 2 p.m. Rev. Mike Wimberly officiated the service. The burial followed at Siloam Cemetery in Trigg County.

Woods died on Monday, May 25, at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz at 8:50 a.m. from a heart attack. He was born in Trigg County on July 22, 1951.

A logger of the Baptist faith, Wood was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Pansey Faughn Woods, and his brother, Ray Woods. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Oliver Woods of Cadiz.

Woods is also survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Robert O’Neal of Central City, Ky., and Amanda and Bryan Cooper of Cadiz, and by three grandchildren, Logan Taylor O’Neal, Harley Rhea O’Neal and Mackenzie Brooke Coooper.

He is also survived by his two step grandchildren, Ashley and Madison O’Neal, his nephew Stacy Woods and his niece Crystal Fritz.
